The new Ford Ranger truck is first tested by Euro NCAP safety organization to achieve a top rating of five stars. Overall score for the Rangers was 89%, not just the best ever recorded by a truck, but one of the largest regardless of class.

Chrysler unveiled the Dodge Challenger SRT8 ACR, a customized version of the muscle car known, which will make its official debut next week at SEMA 2011. The car is inspired by the Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR sports car to restart the production car lap record at Nurburgring Nordschleife track in Germany. Based on the Challenger SRT8 392, the new Challenger SRT8 is equipped with ACR Mopar parts again as a coil-over suspension, front and rear strut tower braces, the shifter short throw, front splitter, cat-back exhaust, custom exhaust headers and a set of Goodyear F1 Supercar performance. Moreover, the car has performance improvements on the inside, as the carbon door panels, fiber, front bucket seats with openings for the career of a racing harness, while the rear latch was removed and replaced a stabilizer bar.
